Billie Shepherd reveals best way to unwind using The OK! Beauty Edit

It’s Boxing Day and the rush of Christmas is now over, so you’re likely laying back and relaxing, and patting the belly after all that festive food.

And if you’ve hit the Boxing Day sales virtually and watched all the Christmas movies possible then it’s time to turn to some self-love and pamper yourself after the business of the festive period.

Mummy Diaries star Billie Shepherd, who is about to take on Dancing On Ice in the new year, has opened up on how she completely unwinds, and it sounds pretty perfect.

The stunning star, 30, has recently handpicked her beauty essentials to create the first celebrity edition of OK’s Beauty Edit box, and included with the goodies is Simple Rich Moisture Sheet Mask which she raves about.

“This one by Simple is so nice, it’s really moisturising but also gentle on your skin,” Billie said of the mask.

And the star also detailed how she’ll use it to completely relax and unwind.

When it comes to Billie’s bath routine, she keeps things simple and starts off by removing her makeup before using a gentle exfoliation on her face, she’ll then have a bath and then it’ll be time for the Simple face mask.

“In the last year none of us have been able to go to the salon as much as we’d like to, and I’m the sort of person where, anything I can do at home I will, as I don’t necessarily love going to the salon and don’t really have the time to,” Billie explained.

She continued: “It’s really nice to treat yourself now and then and do a nice at home mask. This one gives your skin a really nice glow.

“Friday or Saturday night is the perfect time to take a half an hour and give yourself some nice pampering. Have a nice bath, put your face mask on and you just feel so much better.”

Billie also opened up on which night she pampers herself, choosing a Friday or a Sunday while saying that’s the “most chance [she] gets” of doing a face mask and having some alone time before the kids run in.

The former TOWIE star added that the Simple mask is a “really good price point.”

“I’d do mine after the bath and you massage the residue into your skin so it’s there for the rest of the evening,” the star added.

Also included in Billie’s box is the amazing Harley Street Skin Care Restorative Hydro Moisturiser.

“It’s a really premium brand but it’s also an amazing price point. It’s really hydrating and it smells amazing.
