Big Brother winner Kate Lawler treated fans to the most adorable photo shoot of her baby bump as she marked reaching her third trimester of pregnant.

The reality star, 40, is expecting her first child with her fiancé Martin and the pair are due to welcome their little on in February next year.

Kate – who shot to fame after winning Big Brother in 2002 – took to Instagram as she passed 28 weeks pregnant and marked the moment by posing in her underwear and proudly showing off her baby bump.

The star, who is having a little girl, opened up about her pregnancy journey so far, as she told fans that her daughter is ‘doing very well’.

She wrote: ‘ ‘Second trimester complete! 💖⁣ This pregnancy feels like it’s flying by some days, yet there are times when I feel like I’ve been preggers forever! ‘

Kate continued: ‘⁣I’m also so grateful to have experienced an enjoyable second trimester, to feel our little lady moving more and more each week and to know that so far, there’s nothing to worry about and she’s doing very well inside my ever-expanding tummy. ⁣#28weekspregnant #hellothirdtrimester’

Kate first announced news she was expecting in September, as she revealed that turning 40 had changed her thoughts on having children.

The radio personality had previously said that she didn’t want children, but explained in an interview with Hello! magazine that she has ‘never felt more ready’ to become a mum.

Kate said: ‘For a lot of my life, I did feel pressurised and I wasn’t ready. You have to do what’s right for you. I think I am going to be a much happier person knowing that I did this when I wanted to.’

The star revealed that having a baby was ‘completely planned’, after she and Martin decided to start a family together after cancelling their wedding and re-booking it for the following year.

‘When we rebooked [the wedding] for the following year, a few of our friends and family said we could have a baby between now and then,’ she said.

Last year, Kate had appeared on Loose Women to help break the stigma surrounding women who choose not to have children and admitted that she had been judged for deciding not to have a baby in the past.

‘Maternal ambivalence is on the rise, more women are freezing their eggs, choosing a career over motherhood,’ she said on the show.

‘I think that’s because women are finally being true to themselves and doing what’s right for them instead of what society tells them to do.’
