Avengers star Chris Hemsworth has made no secret of his love for dogs, especially his beloved pooch Sunny.

However, taking ‘let sleeping dogs lie’ to a whole new level, the star decided to join in on his pup’s nap.

Sharing a video on Instagram, the god of the thunder has probably never looked less intimidating, as he copied Sunny’s unconventional sleeping position, with all four legs in the air and tongue out.

‘Been working on my sleep posture lately, observing wild creatures in their natural habitat and how they sleep, feeling the benefits big time,’ he explained in the caption.

Whatever floats his boat.

The Aussie star and his wife Elsa Pataky are thought to have adopted Sunny, a Goldendoodle, back in 2014.

And they’ve certainly been through a lot together, after the pup went missing late last year – however, the story had a happy ending after Sunny was found following an appeal.

Chris is back in Australia after deciding to take a break away from Hollywood and wrapping Avengers: Endgame and Men In Black last year.

He’s been raising awareness of the fire crisis currently impacting his homeland and recently donated $1 million AUD (£765,000) to aid with relief efforts.

He’s also been using the time to spend some quality time with his family – his wife, Elsa, and kids India, Sasha and Tristan.

And that includes proving he’s the coolest dad around by taking his daughter India surfing in Byron Bay.

Hey, when in Australia.

The 36-year-old was seen casually carrying both his surfboard and India’s, as they made their way down the beach in Byron in adorable scenes.

Rocking a fedora hat and shades, Chris was seen beaming at his seven-year-old, who actually looked just as cool as her celebrity dad in a leopard print towel and wet-suit.

Dad and daughter bonding doesn’t get much cooler than that.
