Aston Villa vs Liverpool live stream: How to watch Premier League fixture online and on TV today

Two teams with a 100 per cent Premier League record this season meet on Sunday night as Aston Villa host Liverpool.

Dean Smith’s side have yet to concede a goal in the league after winning their opening two, though they did lose in the EFL Cup in midweek.

Jurgen Klopp’s outfit also went out in the cup, on penalties to Arsenal, but have won their opening three in the league including tests against Chelsea and the Gunners.

They will be hoping to keep pace with early leaders Everton, with the Reds and Toffees meeting after the international break in the Merseyside derby.

Villa are without long-term absentees Wesley and Bjorn Engels, while Tom Heaton is on the road to recovery but unlikely to feature. Ross Barkley is in line for a debut, though it might be off the bench.

Villa: Martinez; Cash, Konsa, Mings, Targett; McGinn, Luiz, Hourihane; Trezeguet, Watkins, Grealish.

Liverpool: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez,  Van Dijk, Robertson; Keita, Fabinho, Wijnaldum; Salah, Firmino, Jota.

Villa will make it tough for Liverpool and might revert to last season’s rather more defensive approach from the start, but the Reds should have enough to break them down even without their absent No. 10. Villa 1-2 Liverpool
