Arsenal youngster Jordi Osei-Tutu was subject to racist abuse during his first match with VFL Bochum.
Osei-Tutu, 20, moved to the German club last month on a season-long loan from Arsenal .
He made his first appearance for his new club against Swiss outfit St Gallen when the alleged incident took place.
Osei-Tutu stormed off the pitch in tears during the first-half of the match after the shocking taunts.
TV cameras showed the youngster speaking to an opponent before remonstrating with the referee.
His teammates attempted to console him but Osei-Tutu made his way off the pitch, although he is believed to have returned after half-time.

Osei-Tutu reposted footage of the incident on Instagram alongside the caption: “Say No To Racism”.
Bochum also confirmed they will be launching an investigation into the allegations.
“VfL Bochum vehemently condemns all forms of racism. Jordi, we stand behind you,” a club statement read.
“The incident in yesterday’s test game against St Gallen will be further processed with all participants. The club reserves the right to take further steps.”
Osei-Tutu is yet to make his senior debut at Arsenal but played a key role in the Under-23s title triumph in 2018.
He was a loan target for a host of Football League clubs this summer but became the latest in a long line of young English players to make the move to Germany.
Arsenal loaned Reiss Nelson and Emile Swith-Rowe to Bundesliga clubs last season with both players expected to have first-team roles next term.
