Arsenal host Chelsea on Boxing Day in a huge Premier League contest for both teams as the Gunners look to move away from the relegation dog fight and the Blues hope to keep pace at the top of the table.

It remains unlikely that Mikel Arteta’s side will genuinely be involved in the battle to avoid the drop, but they must start picking up points soon having managed just 14 from their first 14 games.

It is certainly relegation form from the north London side and if results go against them this weekend they could find themselves 17th in the division.

Frank Lampard’s men go into the weekend fifth in the table but will be hoping to end it second if they can pick up three points and other results go their way.

The match kicks-off at 5.30pm on Saturday 26 December at the Emirates.
