William Saliba might be strongly linked with a move to Arsenal this summer but it seems he’s a fan of Tottenham’s new home kit.
The Saint-Etienne defender is reportedly close to completing a £27million move to the Gunners, with the north London club set to pay the fee in installments.
But he’s thrown the cat amongst the pigeons by ‘liking’ an Instagram post on Nike Football’s official page showing Harry Kane wearing Arsenal’s bitter rivals Spurs’ new home shirt.
Reacting to Saliba’s apparent endorsement of the kit, one Instagram user who spotted it wrote: “Saliba, I see you! Join Spurs.”
Another added: “Saliba you can’t be liking these kind of things when you’re a Gunner bro. Lessons to be learned here.”
Tottenham are also keen on landing Saliba but it appears that the Gunners have won the race for the young Frenchman’s signature.
The 18-year-old defender is set to return to Saint-Etienne on loan after he completes his transfer to Arsenal.
Unai Emery’s cash-strapped Gunners are also still linked with a transfer for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha and Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney.
