Ben White is officially an Arsenal player, but further business is expected at the club between now and the end of the transfer window.

The Brighton defender arrives at the Emirates Stadium for a colossal £50million fee, though is a player capable of transforming the Gunners’ defence in a short space of time.

Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga have also made moves to the club as manager Mikel Arteta continues his squad rebuild ahead of the new Premier League season.

But who else could be on their way to the club this summer?

Mirror Sport have rounded up the latest rumours…

Arsenal eye former transfer target

Arsenal are reportedly back in for the Brazilian midfielder

Arsenal have set their sights on a possible deal for Lyon midfielder Bruno Guimaraes.

Mikel Arteta’s side were previously rumoured to be interested in the Brazilian in January 2020 and are now back in the hunt for his signature, according to Goal.

It is claimed that the Gunners have already made some “consultations” with Lyon and are evaluating the possibility of making a proposal official.

Arsenal set to lose Onana chase

The Gunners are expected to miss out on the signing of Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana, who is close to sealing a move to Lyon.

Arsenal had been linked with the Cameroonian shot-stopper as a back-up option, though French publication L’Equipe have reported that Onana has agreed a £6.8million move to Ligue 1.

The doping ban currently being served by the 25-year-old is set to end of November 4, making him available for selection once again.

Sheffield United keeper Aaron Ramsdale remains a possible signing for the Gunners.

Arsenal have already signed one player from Brighton this summer – and are chasing a second star from the Seagulls

Arsenal have been encouraged to sign Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma this summer.

Former Gunners striker Kevin Campbell is of the view that the 24-year-old ticks all the boxes for the club and would be a smart piece of transfer business.

Explaining why this would be a suitable deal, Campbell told Highbury Squad:

“Bissouma, for me, he is the ideal partner in there for Thomas Partey.

“He is combative, he is a lot better on the ball than people give him credit for, the kid can play.

“He is young, he knows the Premier League, he is tough, he tracks back, he puts the tackles in, he is box-to-box. If you need him to, he can hold.

“That’s my guy.”
