Arsenal close to second January transfer departure after announcing Sead Kolasinac exit

And that has started with the departure of Kolasinac.

Technical director Edu said: “Sead needs to be playing regularly, so we have decided together that a move back to Germany with Schalke will benefit him at this moment.

“We will be keeping in close contact with Sead, and wish him huge success for the remainder of the season with Schalke.”

Arteta claims it is unsustainable to have a squad the size of his and says each case will be dealt with individually as to whether the player leaves on loan or permanently.

“Well, we have a large squad, we knew that and a lot of things we wanted to do in the summer, we couldn’t accomplish for different reasons,” the Spaniard said.
