Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta’s stance on recalling Mesut Ozil explained ahead of Chelsea game

And, instead, a move away from Arsenal when the transfer window reopens in January looks to be far likelier.

It’s claimed the 2014 World Cup winner is exploring opportunities in Italy, Qatar, Germany and Turkey – but a move to America could also be on the cards.

Ozil is said to have received numerous requests from major studios and documentary makers to film something for a major streaming platform.

There is reportedly big interest in his life from past to present, from his rise to a superstar at Real Madrid to his fall from grace from the Germany national team.

Streaming platforms are also said to be interested in his activism, with the 32-year-old previously speaking out on issues such as China’s treatment of Uighur Muslims – and then suffering as a result.

And while Arsenal are bereft of creativity this term, it seems like Ozil won’t be donning their red and white colours again.
