Arsenal still have plenty to play for this season with a battle for the top four places and the latter stages of the Europa League.
But that hasn’t stopped fans from getting excited about a leaked away kit for next season – and to be fair to the Gunners supporters on social media it is a stunning shirt.
The Gunners are currently fourth in the Premier League after a fairly first season of the Unai Emery era.
The north London club have done it all wearing their traditional cherry red shirt at home, with a deep purple away strip – which boasts a lighter design across the chest – and a lighter blueish green coloured shirt as their third kit.
All were adequate but never very popular.
But next season Arsenal move from Puma to Adidas, and if the leaks are correct, the Gunners are in for some stunning and classic shirts.
The home kit was leaked last week – with the usual red paired with the Adidas stripes on the shoulders and thin pin stripes going down the front.
That mostly went down well with Gunners fans, but the away shirt has gone down even better.
The design will be familiar to older Arsenal fans as it bears a resemblance to the change uniform used between 1991 and 1993 – and is still regularly seen sported in the stands at the Emirates.
Looking like a ‘bruised banana’ the bright yellow is mixed with sliced triangles which zig and zag up and down the top.
The leaked kit doesn’t boast the ‘Fly Emirates’ sponsor in its chest but still gives an incredible look of what the likes of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and co will line up in the 2019/10 campaign.
If correct it will be the first time since the 2016-17 season that the Gunners will wear yellow.
And it is fair to say fans like the potential kit.
