Mum-of-six Angelina Jolie is said to be delighted in the company of Can’t Feel My Face singer The Weeknd, who himself is said to be ‘in awe’ of the actress
Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie is said to “light up” whenever she talks about her rumoured boyfriend The Weeknd.
The mum-of-six has been snapped having dinner with the singer, real name Abel Tesfaye, and things between the pair are said to be heating up.
An insider told US Weekly “Both Angie and Abel are telling people that they are just friends, but those who know them think something romantic is going on.”
They added that the singer 31, “is in awe of” the Girl Interrupted actress, 46.
While Angelina may be trying to ‘downplay things’ the source revealed that she was “definitely warming toward Abel” who has apparently been “pouring on the charm and going out of his way to impress her.”
Angelina was seen arriving at family-run Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California over the weekend.
She arrived separately from the singer, but after a couple of hours inside, the pair exited the restaurant together. Angelina then headed back with the The Weeknd in his car.
Angelina and Abel have fuelled dating rumours in the past after they were spotted at the same restaurant back in June.
But at the time, sources were convinced it was just for a business meeting.
A source close to the singer told Page Six : “They’re clearly not trying to hide [the dinner date].

Whether for business or pleasure, Angelina can no doubt use a distraction after her well-publicised custody battle with Brad.
Angelina and Brad, 57, divorced in 2019, but the pair are still locked in a messy custody fight over their six children.
The former couple share: Maddox, 20, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 13.
Angelina recently confessed she has a “long list” of nos when it comes to potential suitors, as she admits she’s “been alone” for a long time.
She told E! News’ Daily Pop : “I probably have a very long list [of nos]. I’ve been alone for a long time now.”
However, she thanked her brood for taking “good care” of her making sure she was ok.
She said: “I have six very capable children. Of course you wake up and you just feel like, I’ve got to make sure they’re OK.
“I’ve got to make sure they’re mentally OK but honestly I think a few years ago it switched and they’re thinking, ‘I’ve got to make sure mom’s OK.'”
