Alfredo Morelos offers Rangers shirt to auction as he invites fans to get involved in fundraiser



Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is giving the shirt off his own back to help others while urging followers to get involved in a special charity auction.

The Colombian -born footballer is inviting people to get involved in a fundraiser for his charity The Alfredo Morelos Foundation.

Morelos created a short video telling fans he pans to help kids who are vulnerable with any funds raised through the sale of his shirt from the Europa League victory over Sparta Prague – a match in which he scored twice.

The Ibrox hero said in a video: ” Hi I’m Alfredo Morelos, professional soccer player from Rangers a club in Scotland.

“Now I’m here to do a special invitation here to invite you to participate in the auction in benefit for the Alfredo Morelos Foundation, to help these kids not take a wrong way like drugs and help their families.

“This time is the shirt I used in the last UEFA game that I scored two goal. I will give this personally and signed.

Morelos has been busy over the last few days after being star guest at an augmented reality art exhibition in Glasgow.

The art was created by two celebrated Colombian artists Sergio Mantilla and Miguel Chaparro to highlight biodiversity after COP26.

The Disclosure AR Unibirds Colombia, The Country With The Greatest Bird Diversity In The World Exhibition – hosted by The Embassy of Colombia to the United Kingdom – is an ‘immersive experience’.
