Alex Telles returned to Manchester United’s training ground on Monday but left after spending just 15 minutes at Carrington.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed last week that the Brazil international had tested positive for coronavirus and was not training with the squad.

Telles missed United’s goalless draw against Chelsea on October 24 and was also absent for the 5-0 win over RB Leipzig in the Champions League last Wednesday.

The 27-year-old was left out of the squad once again for United’s 1-0 defeat at home to Arsenal on Sunday.

Telles reported to United’s training base on Monday morning for a coronavirus test and is now expected to miss United’s Champions League clash against Istanbul Basaksehir on Wednesday evening.

United are due to fly to Turkey on Tuesday for their upcoming Champions League match, while all of the players are required to undergo Covid-19 tests before the game.

And Telles will be unable to re-join his United teammates in training sessions until he provides a negative test.

Last week, Solskjaer claimed that Telles was showing ‘no symptoms’ and would be ‘back soon’.

The Brazilian has made just one appearance for United following his arrival from Porto as he played 67 minutes in the 2-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain on October 20.
