GIN lovers and chocoholics rejoice: Aldi is selling pink gin-flavoured chocolates in time for Christmas.
The treats are made from dark chocolate while the inside has a boozy fondant filling.
They cost just £1.49 for a 90g box filled with ten individual chocolates inside.
The choccies are part of Aldi’s Moser Roth range of fruit creams, and make for the perfect post-Christmas dinner treat.
They’re fairtrade and come in five other flavours including rose, violet, strawberry, orange and mint.
The seasonal chocolates are available to buy in store from now until December, meaning that you can stock up before the festive season.
You can find your nearest Aldi branch on its website.
Shoppers on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group are already raving about the pink gin flavoured goodies, complementing the taste as well as their reasonable price.
One user tagged a friend and wrote: “Christmas sorted for you”, while someone else added: “We need the pink gin ones”.
If you’re counting the calories, just bear in mind that they come in at 117 calories per serving of three.
According to NHS guidelines, an adult man should have around 2,500 calories a day while it’s 2,000 for a woman.
We couldn’t find any pink gin chocolates being sold at other major retailers, but Asda sells similar Prosecco and raspberry chocolate truffles.
And while they have had some rave reviews from shoppers, they are more expensive than Lidl’s gin-flavoured range at £4 for £140g.
So it might be worth sampling them both to reach a verdict before Christmas.
You can make your own pumpkin spice latte to wash the chocolates down, courtesy of Lidl.
If you’re getting on the Christmas shopping early, here are some of the cheapest stocking fillers we’ve found.
And if you’re looking to keep warm this festive season, Aldi has just rolled out this heated throw.
