Adele is continuing to smash all kinds of records with her new album, 30.

The Easy On Me singer, 33, released her fourth studio offering last month, with it quickly becoming the highest-selling album in over a year.

She clearly has everyone in their feelings with the emotional songs, as 30 is now the first album to sell one million copies in the US this year, according to Billboard.

Not too shabby, eh?

The publication reports that more than one million in traditional sales across all formats in 2021 – including digital downloads, CDs and vinyl.

In fact, the star reportedly managed to shift 692,000 copies in the first week of release across the country, and 225,000 the following week.

Taylor Swift’s Folklore, which dropped last year, was the last new release to reach the milestone.

Adele is set for a busy 2022, as she will be hitting the stage for her very own Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum, inside Caesars Palace Hotel.

She will be kicking things off on January 21 and stick around until April, before returning to London in June for a sold-out performance at BST Hyde Park Festival.

Adele hit the top spot around the world with 30, which is her most personal offering yet.

It delves into her divorce with ex-husband Simon Konecki, as well as her bond with their son, Angelo.

Spilling the beans on Easy On Me, her debut song from the record, she explained that it was penned with the youngster in mind, in a bid to address some of the questions he had over their split.

‘I just felt like I wanted to explain to him, through this record, when he’s in his twenties or thirties, who I am and why I voluntarily chose to dismantle his entire life in the pursuit of my own happiness,’ she told British Vogue in a candid chat.

‘It made him really unhappy sometimes. And that’s a real wound for me that I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to heal.’
