Abuja Uber, bolt drivers protest poor welfare

Dozens of Uber and Bolt drivers have staged a protest against poor working condition brought against them by the ride-hailing app operators.

The protesting drivers are calling for a review in charges for services, commissions, and proper profiling of users.

They have now given the operators a seven-day ultimatum to address their demands or risk service withdrawal in the nation’s capital.

This is coming days after the drivers in Lagos threatened to embark on industrial action over unfavourable working conditions.
