Aberdeen hotel's £500,000 revamp is nearly complete

The Palm Court hotel in Aberdeen has unveiled its new look after a £500,000 renovation.

Owner G1 Group has transformed almost every area of the four-star venue, refurnishing and decorating its 23 bedrooms in calming blue and neutral tones, with 45-55in TVs, rainfall showers, marble effect finishes and bath products from social enterprise partner The Soap Co.

A revamp of the function spaces is almost complete, with two intimate rooms taking bookings. The two larger rooms have been given redesigned bars, and finishing touches such as wood panelling.

Brian Hutchison, operations director for G1 Hotel Division, said: “We are delighted to have brought this level of refurbishment to The Palm Court, especially at what has been an unquestionably challenging time in the hotel market. We are pleased to be able to significantly elevate the offer at The Palm Court to ensure it continues to remain a firm favourite for visitors from near and far for the foreseeable future.”
