Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka is winning his race to be fit for the club’s clash against Wolves at Old Trafford on Tuesday.

The defender missed the Boxing Day draw against Leicester City through injury and Victor Lindelof was forced to fill in at right-back.

The Swede was forced off in the second half with a back problem and he’s set to miss the visit of Wolves to the Theatre of Dreams, leaving Solskjaer with few options at full-back.

Axel Tuanzebe was used as an auxilliary full-back in a Carabao Cup tie against Everton but Wan-Bissaka looks set to regain his spot after training with the first team today.

The full-back was pictured in training and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can expect to provide an update on his condition when he holds a press conference later this afternoon.

The Norwegian is likely to rotate his side against Wolves, given the hectic festive schedule.

Edinson Cavani, Donny van de Beek, Paul Pogba and Mason Greenwood will all likely expect starts, while Lindelof, Scott McTominay, Daniel James and Anthony Martial could drop out.

United have an added 32 hour rest advantage on Wolves, as the Midlands club drew with Spurs 1-1 at Molineux last night following the Red Devils’ draw against the Foxes a day earlier.
