Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hopeful that Aaron Wan-Bissaka will be available to face Wolves tonight, while a late call will be made on Victor Lindelof.

Lindelof deputised for the former Crystal Palace right-back against Leicester on Boxing Day as he missed out with a knock he sustained in a 6-2 win against Leeds a week earlier.

However, the Swede lasted just over an hour at the King Power and he was replaced by Axel Tuanzebe, who filled in at right-back for the Carabao Cup quarter-final win against Everton before Christmas.

United take on Wolves at Old Trafford tonight looking to improve their home form and Solskjaer says he’s hopeful that both players will be available, even if he’s more confident in Wan-Bissaka’s chances.

‘Victor didn’t train this morning [Monday] so we’ll give him 24 hours. He’s still getting treatment,’ said Solskjaer.

‘Aaron trained with the boys. We didn’t do a lot because there was snow and it was just about preparation training anyway. If there’s no reaction he should be available.’

Solskjaer is expected to make a number of changes, even if Lindelof’s absence could force him into another.

Daniel James, Scott McTominay, Luke Shaw and Anthony Martial could all make way, giving the likes of Alex Telles, Paul Pogba, Donny van de Beek and Edinson Cavani an opportunity to start.

Rivals Chelsea were held to a 1-1 draw by Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge last night, while Leicester City could only manage a draw at struggling Crystal Palace earlier in the day.
