MORNING, ARSENAL FANS
THE futures of Alexandre Lacazette, Mesut Ozil and Dani Ceballos are under an intense spotlight at the Emirates.
Norwich’s Arsenal target Emiliano Buendia admits “returning to the Premier League in the short term is a dream.”
But the next few weeks could also see outcast Ozil finally depart – as the ex-Germany midfielder, 32, is said to be in “advanced” talks with MLS club DC United.
Meanwhile, the Gunners have told France striker Lacazette to wait until the summer for contract talks.
That means they risk losing him for nothing as the 28-year-old has less than 18 months to run on the £170,000-a-week deal.
And on-loan midfielder Ceballos has reiterated his desire to return to Real Madrid at the end of the season.
The Spain star, 24, who has played 23 games for the Gunners this season, said: “My wish is to wear the Madrid shirt.
“For those of us from Madrid, the arrival of Zinedine Zidane been good for everyone. He told me that he needed me to play and get minutes.”
Former Argentina Under-20 ace Buendia is “very happy” at relegated Norwich but desperate to return to the Prem quickly
The 24-year-old said: “It’s the best league in the world…the players and the teams are the best.”
